| After a long effort of learning and endurance comes a well deserved rest. All the primary school children, like the one in the photo, have come to the end of the school year panting and out of breath, but they are pleased to have been rewarded with a medal. |

| In the same way, we too have come to the end of a long school year, full of challenges, hard work and difficulties. It is time to rest and take stock. The school reports have arrived and, on the whole, the marks are satisfactory. All of us, children and carers, along with the primary and secondary school teachers, can be pleased that we have finished the race of academic year 2009 – 2010, having “successfully completed our assignments”. You also have reason to be pleased, with all the support you have given our Home in a year that could be described as difficult. We want to express our thanks for the work of our Board of Governors, the dedication of the foster families, and to each and every volunteer, both individuals and whole families, who have given of their resources, time, money, goods, know-how and talent. Even if many of us have got to the finishing line panting and out of breath, it has been well worth it. THANK YOU !!! |
