| We've been many years together. As time has gone by, ages and circumstances have gradually changed, as we have shared many experiences. For two of our oldest children, the time has come to leave the "Resi". |

One evening this month we were all able to get together for a long goodbye celebration, rounded off with a meal. The dessert was an expression of our love to them. It was an emotionally charged moment, with tears full of positive feelings. Both of them wanted to take time to express their love and thanks to the Home, the carers and the other children, all of whom have become more than friends, almost brothers and sisters... After 7 and 5 years in the RIE Children's Home, they are each going back to their respective mothers. Their future is full of question marks. The years they have spent with us, though by no means perfect, have done them a lot of good. And the time here has also been preparation to help them face the challenges that lie ahead in the adventure of life. We love you. We will always remember you !!! |
