| Songs bring us many happy moments. But also, music can teach us important things about life in general. If we take a look at its features, melody, harmony, rhythm, we are amazed by its complexity and simplicity, its orderliness, its richness. And we can learn that we too, as human beings, ought to function with this fantastic balance. We need to take our correct part in the complex orchestral score of life. |

The learning process for each of our little children depends on their age. And as they grow they are cared for according to their changing needs. And they gradually learn the correct balance between effort and rest, between seriousness and joking, between anger and forgiveness… They learn to combine feelings and logic. And, just as happens in music, when you get everything working in harmony, you reap the reward of a peaceful existence which is both enjoyable and constructive. With your help, we teach them to be at peace with themselves, and also to be in harmony with those around them, in their day-to-day relationships. It doesn’t matter if one or two notes are a bit out of tune. Here in the RIE we have the opportunity of helping them. |
