This
is a long awaited and emotion packed moment. What nerves!!! What excitement!!!
Time to go away to camp, at last! Just before this photo was taken
they put their rucksacks and sleeping bags in the luggage compartment
of the coach. And before getting on they have had the chance to greet
some "old friends" from previous camps. Soon they will be making lots
of new friends. Yes. In a few minutes they will depart from Plaza España,
in Barcelona, and head towards Girona. Enjoy the adventure!!! We hope that the values they will learn will do them good and will take root in their lives. The adventures and experiences to be had in summer camps usually have a big impact in each youngster. As adults we have fond memories of those experiences. Our sincere thanks and appreciation goes to all those who are working as leaders, coaches and helpers in so many children's, young people's and family camps in different parts of our countryside. Thank you for your willingness and enthusiasm. Your input is very valuable, more than you imagine. |
