Sometimes
surprises come so unexpectedly. Little did these two 10 and 11 year
old children, a lovely brother and sister, imagine that they would be
switching schools and where they live, just one month before the end
of the school year. Would they be pleased with the change?

We
told the children that already live in the "Resi" the important
news: more friends were going to join our "Emmanuel Family".
How would they take the news that on Tuesday 22 May, two new
friends would be coming to live in our Home? - "What are they like?" they asked us. - "Not very young or very old; one boy and one girl, both very nice." Our "old timers" reacted with great pleasure. They committed themselves to receiving the newcomers with much kindness, because they all remember how they felt on their first day at the "Resi", very shy and eyes alert to take in their new surroundings. |
